Help & Frequently Asked Questions

At RedSky Business Solutions, we believe in transparency and education. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about our services and practical advice that every small business owner can use to improve their online presence.

Section 1: General Marketing Questions

Q1. What is the most important online presence for a small business?
Most small businesses should start with three pillars: a professional website, a verified Google Business Profile (GBP), and at least one active social media account where their customers spend time. Together, these establish credibility and make you discoverable.

Q2. How much should a small business spend on marketing?
A common rule of thumb is 5–10% of revenue, but for growth phases, businesses often allocate more. RedSky packages start at $250/month so even small companies can compete with bigger players.

Q3. What is SEO and why does it matter?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the process of making your website and content easier to find in search engines. For local businesses, this means ranking for searches like “locksmith in Albuquerque” or “auto repair near me.” SEO increases visibility, credibility, and leads.

Q4. What’s the difference between paid ads and organic SEO?

  • Paid ads = instant visibility, but you pay per click.

  • SEO/organic = slower to build, but once you rank, the traffic is free.
Most businesses benefit from a balance of both.

Section 4: Small Business Tips (Value-Add SEO Content)

  • Automate review requests via email/text
Respond to reviews promptly — both positive and negative.

Q16. How often should I post on social media?
At least 2–3 times per week for most businesses. Consistency is more important than volume. RedSky can automate posts for you if you don’t have time.

Q17. What’s the #1 mistake small businesses make online?
Not keeping their information updated (hours, phone number, website link) across all platforms. Even small inconsistencies can hurt SEO and customer trust.

Q18. What is “programmatic SEO”?
It’s creating multiple optimized pages (like service-area or product pages) at scale using automation and templates. Example: a mechanic site with a page for every city it serves. RedSky uses this for local dominance.
